Nottingham Primary Academy is thrilled to announce the unveiling of a spectacular new mural that now adorns the wall, beautifully capturing the essence of the school’s culture and values. The inspiring project was headed by Naomi Tipping, a professional illustrator and dedicated parent who has had three children attend the academy.

Naomi Tipping, who has consistently supported the school over the years, collaborated with pupils to conceptualise and create the mural. The artwork is a vibrant celebration of the values that underpin Nottingham Primary Academy.

The mural features artwork contributed by children from across the school. Naomi meticulously projected these designs onto the wall, ensuring that each child’s artwork was preserved and celebrated in the final piece.

“We are incredibly proud of this mural and the collaboration effort that went into its creation, said Principal Jo French. “Naomi’s expertise and the children’s creativity have truly transformed the wall, making it a more welcoming and inspiring space for all. This mural not only brightens our environment but also serves as a daily reminder of our values.”

The mural has already received enthusiastic feedback from pupils, parents, and staff, who appreciate its vibrant colours and meaningful messages. The words ‘Respect’, ‘Resilience’, ‘Diverse’, ‘Inclusive’, ‘Caring’, and ‘Helping’ are prominently featured, reflecting the core principles that guide the academy’s community.

“We wanted to create something that every child could feel proud of and connected to,” said Naomi Tipping. “It’s been a joy to work with the children and see their excitement as their drawings came to life on the wall. This mural is a testament to the incredible creativity and spirit of Nottingham Primary Academy”.
