Stanground Academy has shown the true spirit of giving this festive season by donating over 700 meals to the Peterborough Foodbank!

This incredible contribution was made possible through the school’s Christmas Jumper Day, where pupils wore their festive best in exchange for bringing in food donations. Their amazing generosity added up to 300kg of food, which will provide meals for those in need across Peterborough.

The response was so overwhelming that a van, kindly lent by 3WaysTransport, was needed to deliver the donations to the foodbank at Dodson House in Fengate, Peterborough.
